Dectron Internationale announces the election of Mr. Dick W. Driggs as Board Director
Montreal, Quebec, August 25th, 2004 - Dectron Internationale (NASDAQ: DECT) announced the election of Mr. Dick W. Driggs to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Driggs currently serves on the Board in three privately held U.S. Corporations. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Driggs served as President of Addison Products Co., and CEO & Chairman of the Board of Heat Controller, Inc. From 1994 to 1996, he served as Corporate Executive VP of Global Manufacturing and Engineering, AAF-McQuay Corporation. From 1979 to 1994, Mr. Driggs held several senior executive positions with Snyder General Corporation including overseas assignments in both AAF and McQuay. From 1974 to 1979, he served as VP of Manufacturing for Fischer and Porter, Warminster, PA.
Commenting on Mr. Driggs' election to the Board, Dectron Internationale's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ness Lakdawala stated, "Mr. Driggs' participation in several Boards, as well as his extensive experience in the HVAC industry worldwide, will be a definite asset to the Dectron Internationale Board. We are very pleased to announce his election."
